Erik ten Hag has responded to claims that Casemiro left Old Trafford at halftime following his brutal withdrawal on September 1.
Casemiro endured one of the worst days in his professional career, with an error-strewn performance within the first 45 minutes.
The Brazilian started from the get-go alongside Kobbie Mainoo when Manchester United hosted Liverpool for the third round of action of the new Premier League season.
He lost the ball 13 times, the most of any player on the pitch, with Liverpool capitalising twice to race to a 2-0 lead before the break.

Ten Hag hooked the former Real Madrid forward and opted to hand Toby Collyer a baptism of fire against the marauding visitors.
Did Casemiro leave Old Trafford at halftime?
A video later popped online of Casemiro leaving Old Trafford with the caption insinuating that he left the stadium at halftime.
However, ten Hag denied those claims, insisting that he met the midfielder in the dressing room after the final whistle.
"That is not true. He was in the dressing room. I just met him," he told talkSPORT.
The Dutch tactician further explained why he decided to hook off the £60m star.
"it is what the team needed. You know, when you are 2-0 down against Liverpool, you have to take more risks; it will be open," he told Sky Sports.
What next for Casemiro?
Casemiro now faces an uncertain future at Manchester United. New signing Manuel Ugarte will be expected to walk right into the starting XI after the international break.
Ten Hag reacts after Liverpool loss
At the same time, YEN.com.gh has reported that ten Hag remained defiant after the 3-0 loss to Liverpool.
The former Ajax manager argued that his side didn't concede as many goals, even as his long-term future now comes into sharp focus.
Ten Hag revealed that there were some positives but chose to congratulate Liverpool first for the win.
