Jimmy Newton, a winner of the 2019 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ), has graduated as a medical doctor from the School of Medical Sciences, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).
Jimmy Newton is a distinguished alumnus of St Augustine's College in Cape Coast of the Central Region.

Jimmy Newton, Joseph and Eliason won the second NSMQ trophy for the St Augustine's College, 12 years after their first trophy.
They scored 39 points at the time, surpassing their contenders, St Peter's SHS and PRESEC.
After leaving St Augustine's College, Jimmy Newton proceeded to KNUST to study to become a medical doctor.

NSMQ 2017 star Jochebed graduates from Medical School
YEN.com.gh reported that Jochebed Adwoa Sutherland, a former contestant in the 2017 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) from Holy Child School, graduated from Medical School.
She notably earned the title of Overall Best Student in Ghana and West Africa during WASSCE 2017.
The NSMQ, in a post, congratulated Jochebed on this significant achievement, as her success serves as an inspiration for students across the region.
Jochebed Sutherland wins 12 awards
Meanwhile, another publication by YEN.com.gh indicated that Dr Jochebed Sutherland picked up 12 awards at an awards ceremony organised by the University of Ghana.
The old student of Holy Child received praise after the news of her academic achievements went viral.
