Rapper Medikal's mother, Portia Lamptey, has reportedly spoken about her son's marital issues with his wife, Fella Makafui.
In separate statements, Medikal and the actress recently confirmed that the four-year-old marriage was over and was waiting to be officially dissolved.
After the confirmation, many had been waiting for the families to make a joint decision over their children's marriage.

Medikal's mother encourages objective commentary on rapper's saga with Fella Makafui
But refusing to speak publicly about the ongoing saga, Medikal's mother has, in a private conversation with Peace FM's Akwasi Aboagye, urged for objective commentary on the matter.
According to Akwasi Aboagye, the rapper's mother, with whom he enjoys a relationship, called him and asked him not to avoid discussing the divorce.
"Medikal's mother called and told me that I should not refrain from speaking on the her son's marital saga even if I want to criticise her son, I should go ahead," he said.
Apart from giving him the go-ahead to discuss Medikal's marital issues, the rapper's mother also used the opportunity to apologise to Despite Media over her son's recent spat with the media organisation and its owners.
It will be recalled that Medikal used some unprintable words on MzGee and her employers after the UTV presenter asked questions about him and Fella on United Showbiz.

Meanwhile, Medikal and Fella Makafui acquired a plush mansion around East Legon in 2021, just over a year after their wedding.
The house featured a swimming pool which had been customised, with the name of their daughter, Island Frimpong.
As the couple battles divorce, the owner of their home has become a topic for discussion, and a video of the house is recirculating.
