According to a report by Gossip 24 TV, despite the confirmation, the court declined to alter the terms of her bail, ordering that the existing conditions remain in place.

In an emotional moment during the hearing, TikToker Bawumia Ba knelt before the court and appealed for a reconsideration of the bail terms attached to her case.

One of her specific concerns centred on a requirement to deposit her Ghana Card, which she told the court she does not possess. She urged the presiding judge to take her personal circumstances into account and make adjustments accordingly.

After hearing her submission, the court chose not to revise the conditions and instructed that all previously set terms continue to apply as proceedings advance.

Case adjourned to September 2026

The matter was subsequently adjourned to September 24, 2026, when Aminat Mahama is expected to return for the next stage of the legal process.

Until then, she remains bound by the bail conditions the court has chosen to uphold.

TikToker Mamaone granted bail

Earlier, YEN.com.gh reported that TikToker Rita Konadu, known as Mamaone, appeared before the Accra High Court on Wednesday, July 22, 2026.

The court granted Mamaone bail of GHC50,000 with two sureties after her arrest over comments targeting President Mahama.

Mamaone was picked up by the Cyber Vetting and Enforcement Team in Juaben, Ashanti Region, before being brought to Accra.
