Tony's intervention followed a viral Instagram post claiming that Jude Okoye, who served as P-Square's manager for a significant period, took more than 40 per cent of the duo's earnings despite not being a performing member of the act.

Rather than affirming the claims, Tony pushed back on the account circulating online, identifying an individual known as Hawwie T as the person who managed P-Square at the time being discussed.

"Jude never smelt it to be P-Square's manager oooo, na Hawwie T be the manager then," Tony reportedly wrote.

Adding that social media had enabled people to spread false stories.

His remarks challenge the prevailing account held by many fans and have introduced a new version of events into a dispute that has already drawn considerable public attention.

The roots of the Okoye family feud

The broader conflict centres on allegations made by Peter Okoye, known professionally as Mr P, who accused his twin brother Paul Okoye, also known as Rudeboy, and their brother Jude of mismanaging income tied to the group's music catalogue.

Peter Okoye alleged that Jude secretly established a company to divert revenue belonging to P-Square, allegations Jude has consistently denied.

The dispute became a matter of public record after a series of exchanges between Peter and Paul, including emotional statements about shared struggles and conflicting accounts of events during the group's peak years.

Jude claims he solely owns P-Square and only employed Peter as a dancer.
