However, sometimes things happen and turn every dream into a nightmare, like it happened recently at a ceremony held in a church.

"Don't mention flaws!"

In a video shared by Daily Mail, the would-be joyous celebration of love turned into a dramatic affair when a groom's mother disrupted her son's wedding.

The atmosphere went tense when the bride, in the midst of her heartfelt declaration, decided to candidly mention that her groom had flaws.

Her intention was to show that she accepted him wholeheartedly despite his imperfections, but that did not go down well with his mother.

The mention of "flaws" immediately triggered an outburst from the groom's mother, who lashed out at the bride, demanding that she stop pointing them out.

"Leave my wedding!"

In a heated exchange, the mother-in-law also reminded the bride that the wedding dress she was wearing had been paid for by the groom's family, further escalating the tension in the room.

Efforts to calm the irate mother-in-law down were futile as she continued to express her displeasure.

"Everybody has flaws, and that's why I love him," the bride muttered, hoping to calm the irate woman down.

When it was clear there was no amicable solution, she asked the groom's mother to leave the wedding if she was unhappy with the proceedings.

"I'll call the police!"

The situation took a turn for the worse when the mother-in-law threatened to call the police if she was thrown out of the venue.

Desperate to restore order, one of the attendants pleaded with the furious woman to respect the occasion, reminding her that it was her son's special day and not hers.

The groom's sister later disclosed that despite the couple deciding to go through with the wedding, their mother has not contacted them since that fateful day.

With the video going viral on social media, the drama has undoubtedly left a lasting impact on the newlyweds and their relationship with the groom's mother.

Groom caught breastfeeding

In another recent story, a bride nearly called off her wedding after she stumbled on her mother-in-law breastfeeding the groom.

The woman had taken a washroom break when she walked into the scene, which left her shocked to the core.
