A Nigerian lady living in Germany was able to sell six empty water bottles for €7.50 (N11,000).
The lady said the empty plastic bottles were not thrown away but could be sold in the country.
Selling empty water bottles in Germany
The lady, Gifty, said:
"I live in Germany, and of course, we sell our empty water cans."
She took the bottles to a place where she dropped them into a machine that counted them and determined their worth.
Gifty used the money she got from the sale to buy a Rubik's cube for her son, who was glad to receive it when she returned home. She also bought other things for the house.
Meanwhile, many reactions followed the video when she shared it on TikTok, and it caught the attention of her followers.

Ghanaian woman advocates for more women to travel to Germany
Earlier, YEN.com.gh reported that a Ghanaian woman in Germany had encouraged women in Ghana seeking a better life for themselves to move to Germany stating that the German system wass favourable to women due to the policies that have been put in place to protect and offer them comfort.
