The family, consisting of a widow with her four children, was said to be living in harsh conditions in Asesewa in the Eastern Region.

Nana Tea was introduced to the family by a local nutritionist, and he could not believe the situation they were in.

The philanthropist found them living in an uncompleted, non-cemented room with no bed, sleeping on clothes laid on the floor. His first encounter with them showed the family cooking a small meal in a sardine tin.

Their way of life was evident in their harsh living conditions, with the absence of a father and husband figure. According to Nana Tea, the sight moved him to act by sharing their story online for the world to see.

Two generous donors showed interest and responded to his story. A UK-based donor sent money to support the family with food supplies, as could be seen in his updated video. Another donor from Finland decided to fund the medical aspect.

The donor from Finland handled the medical check-ups for all five family members at the Asesewa Government Hospital to assess the long-term impact of their malnutrition. The smiles on the family's faces showed how grateful they were.

Beyond the medical and food support, Nana Tea noticed their brownish hair, a common sign of malnutrition, and decided to care for them through fresh haircuts. Nana Tea also took the family to a restaurant, giving them a rare moment of joy.

Nana Tea ended his visit with a heartfelt promise to return and continue supporting the family.
