According to him, at just nine months old, he read a Carter’s shop sign, shocking his parents. That early sign of brilliance grew into a phenomenon. Today, Sean boasts over 10 million followers across Instagram and YouTube, where he simplifies complex science topics for audiences.

During his CNN interview, Sean shared that his journey has always been about passion. He also disclosed that he has hyperthymesia, a rare condition of superior memory in humans.

In his words:

“Learning was my video game. Everything I’ve done so far is a passion project. Basically, the second I learned something, I kind of memorised it. We can’t forget.”

His impressive memory and sharp intellect have enabled him to self-study everything from human anatomy to physics. One of his most trending moments, he said, came when he dissected a brain on-air to explain the hippocampus (the part responsible for memory).

According to him, at just four years old, he coined the term “neurocardiac surgeon.” He called it a career after realising the interdependence between the brain and heart.

“The brain tells the heart to pump blood, and the heart pumps blood to the brain so the brain can tell the heart to pump blood,” he explained.

@CFC_Southpaw commented:

"He's smart, but the brain never tells the heart to pump blood. The heart operates on automotility, meaning it generates its own electrical impulse independent of the CNS. It's rather the ability of the heart to be independent of the brain that keeps the brain alive all time."
