A Nigerian lady based in Ghana has heaped praises on President John Mahama over the different raft of policies his government has effected that have led to the reduction in cooking gas prices.

In a video shared on her TikTok page, the Nigerian lady, with the social media handle @marcy6056, was excited to share her recent realisation of the price of cooking gas.

The young lady explained how elated she was after finding out the prices had reduced significantly from the last time she bought cooking gas when she went out to get a refill.

According to her, before President John Mahama came to power, she usually filled her 6.5kg gas cylinder at GH₵130, but by June 2025, six months after Mahama became president, the price of the same gas quantity had dropped to about GH₵95.

In her words:

"As of last year, it used to cost GH₵130 to fill it, and even early this year. But by June, they told me GH₵95, and just yesterday, I filled it at GH₵90."

She expressed her excitement about the improved living conditions while applauding the Mahama-led government for managing the economy prudently.

Ghanaian man rates Mahama’s government 99.5%

YEN.com.gh had earlier reported that a young Ghanaian man praised President John Mahama’s government after its first six months in office.

In a street interview, he rated the National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration 99.5 out of 100, citing visible progress.

The man pointed to initiatives like Free Senior High School, noting that the Mahama-led government had added value to existing policies.

He stressed that he had no political affiliation but appreciated the tangible benefits citizens were experiencing.
