Known for his philanthropic acts to the people of Ghana, Reza embarked on an unusual gesture that would make the rural community indebted to him for his kindness.

The community lacked clean water for months due to its non-functional borehole. The story unfolded with the content creator visiting the stricken area with his crew.

Content creator Reza saves community from drought

At the start of the moment, he saw some children taking water from a polluted source, feeling sorry for the condition, he decided to step in. Instead of getting them pure water like some people would have thought, he wanted to fix the problem at the source.

Reza was taken to the location of the community borehole to see the bad state of the system. He went on to coordinate the repair of the damaged borehole, called mechanics who worked tirelessly to find the problem with the damaged borehole.

The repairs took mere hours despite the year-long neglect. After the repairs were completed, water began to flow again. Months without clean water, the community could not hold their joy as they cheered on and celebrated.

Children and adults alike gather around the newly functional borehole, filling their containers with the precious, clean resource they had been without for so long.

This intervention showed a critical issue in rural Ghana, where approximately 20% of the population lacks access to safe water sources, and up to 50% of boreholes fail due to mechanical issues and inadequate maintenance.
