She described feeling visibly overwhelmed while managing both Charly's Ghana and Muland Lounge simultaneously, and said the experience left her in a deeply concerning emotional state.

Rather than continuing to push through for appearances, she chose to step back entirely.

Charly D prioritises herself amid difficult chapter

In the caption accompanying the video, Charly D addressed her followers directly, writing:

"Before you feel sad for me, please know that I chose ME! Yes, I closed down my 2 RESTAURANTS @charlys_ghana & Muland Lounge! I chose my mental health ✅🙏 @swiftbreakfastandlunch is still in business."

She made clear that while both dining establishments have shut their doors, her Swift Breakfast and Lunch service continues to operate, and customers who still wish to order from her can do so through that platform.
