Heartbroken Teacher Writes Emotional Letter To Lover Before Taking HisLife: "Let's Meet In Heaven"

Dennis Mwaniki, popularly known as Mukono, reportedly took his life after a lady rejected him despite his numerous advances to woo her.

The young teacher revealed that he had tried speaking to at least 17 people about his issues, but nobody listened.

Mbeere North sub-county Police Commander Eric Yego said Nthawa MCA Sammy Tito reported at Siakago Police Station Mukono was not picking up calls from friends and family.

He said the 32-year-old man had locked himself inside his house at Nthangariri village.

Yego disclosed that police officers arrived at the scene and broke the door to gain entry into the house, where they found Mwaniki lying dead on his bed with no physical injuries.

He had blood and a white substance oozing from the nose.

What were Mukono's demands?

In a letter addressed to his family, the teacher demanded that the lady who rejected his advances should read his eulogy at the burial he asked to be held on Wednesday, February 14.

He spelt out where he wanted to be buried, adding that all his property should be distributed among his children if he had any.

Mukono further stated that Embu County Assembly Speaker Josiah Thiriku and Tito should take the lead and organise his funeral, adding the picture he wants to be used in his program.

"I promised to love you till my last breath," he concluded the letter.
