Pascaline reportedly signed an exeat from her school in Offinso to seek treatment at home because she was unwell.

Unbeknownst to her teachers and guardians, she was camping with her alleged boyfriend.

According to her father, all attempts to get information about her location proved futile.

"When I called my daughter, she confirmed that she had taken the exeat but was camping with a friend. I think she thought I would be mad at her, so she refused to give me the location. So I had to find my own way of locating her," he said.

What happened to Pascaline?

17-year-old Pascaline is believed to have died at the hospital after contracting severe malaria.

Her father, in a recent interview, maintained that a post-mortem was yet to be conducted to confirm what claimed her daughter's life.

However, he noted that the condition of the house her daughter was allegedly camping in was unsanitary and infested with mosquitoes.

The man's account contradicts earlier rumours which have gone viral that Pascaline harmed herself.

The rumours suggested that the young girl committed the act after her father allegedly got the police to arrest her boyfriend.

Speaking in his recent interview, Pascaline's father rubbished claims that he maltreated her daughter, causing her to take her life.
