EOCO Declares Three Ghanaian Women Wanted Over Alleged Financial Loss to the State

The Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) has declared three women wanted in connection with alleged cases of causing financial loss to the state, as part of ongoing anti-corruption investigations.
The individuals identified are Esther Osaah Boateng, Mercy Korang and Rita Ewura Abena Appiah.

According to EOCO, each is being sought for their alleged involvement in financial impropriety, although the agency has not disclosed the specific sums involved or the institutions affected.
Photographs of all three suspects have been circulated alongside the notices as part of efforts to aid identification and arrest.
EOCO explains what the suspects allegedly did
Esther Osaah Boateng is the first person named in the public alert.
EOCO states she is wanted for allegedly causing v, and has appealed for information from the public regarding her whereabouts.
Mercy Korang is also being sought by the agency for the same alleged offence. No further details have been provided about her background or the circumstances surrounding the case.
Rita Ewura Abena Appiah is the third individual listed, with EOCO similarly stating that she is wanted in connection with alleged financial loss to the state.
EOCO appeals for public assistance
EOCO has urged members of the public with information on the suspects to report to its Head Office near the Old Parliament House on Barnes Road in Accra, or any of its regional offices. Reports can also be made at the nearest police station.

What is EOCO's mandate?
Established under the Economic and Organised Crime Office Act, 2010 (Act 804), EOCO is mandated to investigate and prosecute serious economic and organised crimes, including corruption, fraud and money laundering.
The agency also has powers to freeze assets, conduct searches and seize property as part of its investigations, with public wanted notices typically issued when suspects are believed to be evading arrest.
