For Sharaf, the visit underscored his deepening role in sports.
Last year, he secured his FIFA intermediary license after passing the examinations that certify football agents globally.

He now heads Legacy Rise Sports, a firm involved in talent management and event organisation.
Earlier this year, his company staged the high-profile “Battle of the Beasts” at Bukom Boxing Arena in partnership with British boxing icon Amir Khan, an event that drew heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua to Ghana.

Though Sharaf once harboured dreams of becoming a professional footballer, he has successfully carved a niche as a promoter and agent.
Andre Ayew, on the other hand, is at a crossroads in his playing career.
Following the expiration of his contract with French club Le Havre, the 35-year-old remains without a team, though many believe he still has a few good years left and could even strengthen Hearts of Oak if he decides to return home.
A star-studded night, but Hearts falter again
The stadium’s glamour was not limited to Sharaf and Andre.
Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Davido made a surprise entrance, while Ghana’s own Stonebwoy thrilled fans with a halftime performance.

The mix of sports and entertainment created a lively atmosphere, though the football itself offered little for Hearts fans to cheer about.
For the eighth straight season, the Phobians failed to win their opening league match.
Despite enjoying 58 per cent possession, they managed just one shot on target in a frustrating goalless draw against debutants Hohoe United, per Ghanasoccernet.
The visitors, reduced to ten men, still created the better chances, with Black Stars goalkeeper Benjamin Asare called into action three times to deny them.

The draw was a setback for Hearts, who had looked promising in preseason after winning both the Democracy Cup and the Homowo Peace Cup.
Now, Mas-Ud Didi Dramani’s side must regroup quickly before facing a difficult away fixture against Dreams FC on September 20, per Flashscore.
