Karela United have had their FIFA-imposed registration ban lifted just four days after it was enforced, following the club's swift settlement of a financial obligation owed to former player Sana Camara.
FIFA had confirmed the ban in a letter dated August 18, issued through its Legal Portal and signed by Head of Disciplinary Américo Espallargas.
The sanction blocked the club from registering new players at both domestic and international levels until the outstanding debt was cleared, placing their pre-season squad preparations under serious strain.

What's next for Karela after FIFA lifted ban
The resolution comes at a significant moment for the club, which is in the process of assembling a competitive squad ahead of the upcoming Ghana Premier League campaign.
Ahead of the ban being imposed, Karela had already shown promising form in pre-season, winning the Sompa Invitational Cup, a preparatory tournament that also featured Aduana Stars and Bechem United.

With registration now unrestricted, the club owned by Education Minister Haruna Iddrisu can proceed with its transfer activity without further disruption.
The timing is also financially significant. The Ghana Football Association announced at its 32nd Ordinary Congress that all 18 Ghana Premier League clubs would each receive GHS1 million ahead of the start of the new season, a boost that Karela United will now be in a position to maximise without the added complications of a transfer embargo hanging over them.
