Career

Upon finishing college, Princess Shyngle embarked on her career as a part-time event planner. She was soon noticed by Coca-Cola Gambia, who employed her and contributed to her eventual rise to stardom.

Subsequently, she got the opportunity to audition for the widely popular competition, “The Next Movie Star Africa”, in 2011, where she secured a place as one of the finalists.

Alongside her entertainment pursuits, Princess also established her own successful waist trainer business. Leveraging her massive Instagram following of over one million followers, she has endorsed various products, further solidifying her influence and popularity.

She has starred in several movies since then, especially in Ghana, such as "Why Do Men Get Married", "The Dormitory 8", "The 5 Brides", and "The Hidden Fantasy".

In 2015, she received a nomination for "The Discovery of the Year" at the Ghana Movie Awards.

In 2020, she launched her own reality TV show named "Discovering Princess Shyngle".

Personal life

Princess Shyngle's popularity has soared due to her coveted hourglass figure, which she attributes to the use of waist trainers.

She claims to have been in relationships with several renowned Ghanaians, among them are rapper D-Black and footballer Michael Essien.

She was once rumoured to be in a relationship with Nigerian afrobeat artist Burnaboy.

She got engaged to her Senegalese boyfriend, Gibou Bala Gaye, in 2019, but the marriage was hit with many controversies.

She accused her husband of cheating on her and later apologised for publicly shaming him.

She revealed that she was pregnant in 2020 and that she was struggling to pay her bills since her husband was arrested by the police authorities.

Princess Shyngle labeled her marriage to Gibou Bala Gaye a mistake, just two months after tying the knot.

Shyngle, who once described Bala Gaye as a longtime crush, accused him of domestic violence, leading to her decision to file for divorce.

After divorcing Gaye, Princess dated Frederick Badji. The couple eventually got married, but their second marriage faced its own challenges.

Princess Shyngle’s husband, Frederick Badji, encountered legal troubles that led to his arrest and a subsequent 10-year prison sentence in the United States.

As of now, Princess Shyngle’s husband is serving his term behind bars.
