"We had both parents but our father died.
"Our mother was taken to the city by our half brother."
Having not heard from her since the relocation, they journeyed to the city and returned to the village on foot as they couldn't find their mum - she hasn't been seen ever since.
They resorted to living in a hole
According to Afrimax, the lads trekked for six days and arrived at their village to discover that their previous abode had been destroyed.
The brothers whose education stopped at Primary 2 made a makeshift hole house and lived in it for 20 years till help finally came.
After their story was shared, people donated money and this helped in building them a house.
The boys were also given cash.

Young lady born with backward feet and rejected by her dad builds a house for her mum
Meanwhile, YEN.com.gh previously reported that a lady rejected by her father because she was born with backward feet had built her mum a house.
According to Afrimax who did a documentary on the lady's life, Devotha's condition made her a subject of ridicule and rejection by people.
Her dad eventually joined the 'rejection wagon' and abandoned Devotha with the mum to start a new family elsewhere.
Thanks to a village priest, she got enrolled in a technical school where she acquired knowledge in construction and set her mind to building her mum a house - as they actually had no place of their own.
