Before it was suspended from operations because of an accident that took place in November 2017 involving one of its ATR 72-500s, it had the plan of making provision for direct flights from Accra, Ghana, to other cities in West Africa.

The flight company stands out as one of the largest passenger airlines in Ghana owned by a Ghanaian. Its headquarters is in Ghana, and it has successfully made trips to Kumasi, Accra, Takoradi, Tamale, and beyond Ghana to Monrovia from its Kotoka base.
Registered under the company name, Aero Surveys Limited, it was formally incorporated in 1995 and began operations in the year 2011. Ever since its first flight in September 2011, the airline has witnessed unprecedented growth in all ramifications of operation, with an average of 46 departure flights every week. The company has the Bae 146-200, ATR 72-500, and Bae 146-300 in the list of its fleet of airplanes.

As at the time of operation, Starbow book a flight online provision was made to ease the travel experience of customers. Interestingly, depending on individuals, there were the economy, business, or first class options available based on the customer's budget.
With your Starbow login details, when you are booking for a flight, the company made 20kg of free luggage space for economy and 30kg for business class. More so, a 5kg space is allowed for carrying bags for all customers.

The flight company had one of the best recruitment processes, but since it stopped operations in November 2017, that had been placed on hold. However, it is worth noting that applying to the company followed the same process as other corporate organisations. Usually, information about Starbow job vacancies, among other channels, was placed on the Starbow Airlines website.
Once a prospective candidate met the requirements based on the advertised positions and applied, they would be invited to an interview, which, if passed, may guarantee them the job.
