Actor John Dumelo's wife, Gifty Mawumnya (nee Nkornu) has been pleasantly surprised on her birthday.
Mrs Dumelo turned a year older on Sunday, January 3, 2021, and shared some stunning photos on social media in celebration.
While she had thought of leaving her celebration at the sharing of pictures, her husband and her friends including actress Nadia Buari had other ideas. They organised a surprise mini-party to celebrate her special occasion.

A video from the celebration shows Mrs Dumelo holding a birthday cake in the midst of her husband and friends.
Dumelo, Nadia, and the other friends are heard singing a happy birthday son for Gifty while she danced happily.
The video was shared by Gifty on Monday, January 4, 2020, while she expressed her appreciation for the gesture.
"As usual I wasn’t going to do anything on my birthday but these guys weren’t going to let that happen again thanks to these beautiful people for making my day awesome in an intimate way @johndumelo1 @iamnadiabuari @ramirtw Akua, sydi and Ken ....and omg I truly appreciate you all for your beautiful kind messages...God bless you all," she said.
