Popular Ghanaian naval officer, P.O Kwabena Donkor, has swept three massive awards of the year as a gospel musician at the NKZ Music Awards 2021.

Ghanaiantimes.com.gh reports that the talented singer serves as the P.O Class One Donkor Jethro of the Western Naval Command in Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis of the Western Region.

Kwabena Donkor, who has featured the celebrated gospel artiste Joyce Blessing on his song Only You, indicated that his passion is to be an ambassador of Christ spreading the gospel of Christ through music.

The NKZ Music Awards 2021 where Kwabena Donkor made history with his achievement took place in the Bono East Nkoranza Region and was hosted at the venue Jusmoc Hotel.

The categories he won included the Gospel Song of the Year, Songwriter of the Year, and Gospel Artiste of the Year.

It is rather interesting how gospel musicians in Ghana are able to rub shoulders with secular musicians when it is widely thought that the genre of music is not highly patronized compared to the secular ones.

In another interesting report, a video showing the nerve-wracking moment the Speaker of Parliament saw the MP for Tema West Constituency snatch ballot papers has surfaced on social media.

In the footage sighted by YEN.com.gh on the verified Facebook handle of 3FM 92.7, Alban Bagbin looked extremely anxious to see what would immediately unfold.
