The news of Ghana Boy's passing comes after years of him going blind and living under difficult conditions.

It will be recalled that Ghana Boy in an interview in 2018 narrated that his eye problem started in 2007, and had eventually rendered him completely blind.

“My living condition is very bad and many people have neglected me because of my blindness. I don’t have a place to live and even what to eat is also a problem for me,” the comedian said.

To him, he could still pursue a career in acting or work with any radio station willing to offer him job opportunities.

“I am only blind but my senses are working correctly and can do many other jobs, like acting movies, being on radio, I can do all these things,” he said.

Ghana Boy, therefore, appealed to individuals and management of radio stations, directors and producers of movies to engage him since he still has the skills.

But it looks like that help did not come as he was not spotted in any movies until his demise.

For those who may not know him, Ghana Boy was one of the stars of the once-popular television show, Keysoap Concert Party.

He competed with and performed alongside legendary comedians like Bob Okala, Bob Santo, Nkomode and Agya Koo.
