Newly sworn-in Keta MP attacked again in less than 1 month
- Member of Parliament for the Keta constituency in the Volta Region has been attacked again
- His filing station on the Aflao-Accra road was attacked by armed men
- The armed men inflicted gunshot wounds on the security man on duty and made away with money and some items

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that the newly elected Member of Parliament for the Keta constituency in the Volta Region, has been attacked and assaulted by some men welding quns.
Kwame Dzudzorli Gakpey was allegedly attacked in his residence at Afiadenyigba in the Volta Region.

The attack is reported to have happened around 1:00 am on Friday, December 11, 2020.

In less than a month another attack has been launched on the Keta MP's close relation.
In a report filed by Joy News, suspected armed men on Sunday dawn, attacked the Rootsenaf Gas filling station belonging to the MP.
Unfortunately, the armed men inflicted gunshot wounds on the security man on duty and made away with GH₵7000, a pump, and other items.
The MP said the robbery was carried out using a pistol that was stolen from him last year when hey attacked him.
The gun-wielding thugs succeeded in inflicting injuries on Mawuli Gakpey who was subsequently hospitalized.
His mother and other family members were also attacked and brutalized.
Following the latest incident, the MP has called for urgent and swift action from the Police to bring to book the thugs endangering his life and livelihood.

In other news, the MP for Asawase, Muntaka Mubarak, has accused a Supreme Court judge of trying to bribe a female NDC MP to vote against Alban Bagbin.
Bagbin took the oath of allegiance and office as the Speaker of Ghana’s eighth Parliament on Thursday, January 7, 2021.
He was elected as the seventh speaker in the history of the fourth republic after a chaotic voting exercise in the chamber of parliament.
Speaking to Joy News on Sunday, January 10, 2021, Mubarak disclosed how the said judge tried tirelessly to persuade the said female MP-elect [now MP] to vote against Bagbin’s nomination.
