18-year-old girl who escaped getting used for money ritual recounts her story

- Zuleiha, an 18-year-old girl from Kumasi was kidnapped and sent for money rituals on January 30, 2021

- It all started when she went out to get prepaid credit and was captured by a gang of men who put her in a car and sent her to the site for the ritual

- Luckily for Zuleiha, the ritualist who was a huge woman said that she was not 'suitable' to be used, for which reason they sent her back

An 18-year-old Ghanaian girl simply identified as Zuleiha has given a chilling account of how she was kidnapped and later released for being 'unsuitable'.

In an interview with JoyNews sighted by YEN.com.gh on the verified Facebook handle of the media organization, the girl mentioned that the life-threatening experience happened to her on Saturday, January 30, 2021.

According to Zuleiha, she had been sent to buy prepaid electricity credit from a nearby store in her neighborhood at Kumasi in the Ashanti Region, when she redirected to another outlet at a less familiar location.

While on her way, Zuleiha recalls that she got in front of one St Joseph Clinic where she met a gang of men who forcibly masked her up with a handkerchief.

Zuleiha was instantly weakened by a chemical that was in the handkerchief, leaving her at the mercy of the men who transported her in a car to an unknown location

"The next thing I saw was that I was sitting in front of a huge woman who asked them to take me away because I am not the type of girl she wants. They sent me back and left me lying by the roadside", she said.

Also, a 45-year-old Ghanaian woman named Maame Serwaa has spent 43 years of her life walking on her knees because she suffered from polio, a medical condition at age two.

When Maame Serwaa was struck by the disease at the young age, it is reported that the doctors gave her 30 injections that ended up weakening her limbs to the point that she could never walk on them.

In a short documentary obtained by YEN.com.gh on the YouTube channel of Bones Man TV, it is indicated that despite her predicament, the 45-year-old has three children she takes care of all by herself.
