Hawa Koomson should not be approved as fisheries minister - Ghanaians react to fish farming response
Fisheries Minister-designate, Hawa Koomson, today, February 18, 2021, took her turn to answer questions before Parliament's Appointment Committee for her portfolio.

Her vetting was particularly monitored by most Ghanaians due to her issues prior to the elections with regards to the shooting incident in her constituency.
Since she was being vetted for the position of Fisheries Minister, she was asked to define fish farming and what its advantage was.
The questions that sounded quite irrelevant and out of place got Ghanaians pissed, but the answer that followed came as a surprise and shock to many as the minister gave quite an embarrassing response.
Her response has topped on news on various social media platforms especially on Twitter where she is trending at number one with over 7,000 tweets

Nat pleaded for Hawa Koomson to be rejected.
In other news, the Member of Parliament for the North Tongu constituency, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has sarcastically suggested that President Akufo-Addo needs to consider the appointment of an awareness minister.
His sarcastic comment comes after almost all the nominees kept chanting the mantra "I'm unaware" to some critical questions they were asked when they appeared before the Appointments Committee of Parliament.
