Gloria Arhin, the wife of President Akufo-Addo's communications director, Eugene Arhin, has made some amendments to the divorce case she filed in court some days ago.
Information reaching YEN.com.gh from a Ghanaweb report has it that she has withdrawn some claims she made in the divorce suit with regards to properties supposedly owned by her husband.
Mrs Arhin is said to have filed an amended suit at the Accra High Court on Monday, February 15, 2021.
In the new case, she has claimed that her husband has only one property which she intends to contest and have it partly settled in her name.
She indicated that the said property is an uncompleted 5-bedroom house in Santor in the Kpone Katamanso District.
The other properties she claimed belonged to her husband have been removed in the amended case.
Eugene Arhin filed a response to the petition made by his wife and asked her to prove her claims about the properties she stated in her first petition.
According to Dailyguide, Mrs Arhin’s new petition is different from her first case which stated that her husband owned a number of huge buildings and expensive cars.
Eugene Arhin, in his response, denied most of the claims, while admitting that he wanted to leave the marriage.
He also denied having any property at Senya Bereku or AU Village as well as at Ada Foah and Teshie as initially submitted by his wife.
In other news, YEN.com.gh earlier reported that award-winning Ghanaian record producer, Edward Nana Poku Osei, famed as Da'Hammer or Hammer has backed Stonebwoy over VGMA's ban lift press release.
In a recent Facebook post, Hammer bashed the board members of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards and claimed they were only acting to their own advantage.
The music producer added that he sided with Stonebwoy over his reaction to the ban being lifted on Shatta Wale and himself.
