The National Security has raided the administrative office of LGBT+ Rights Ghana in Ashongman in Accra to shut down the office, which was opened in February 2021.

In a post on social media, LGBT+ Rights Ghana disclosed its members no longer have access to a safe space as their lives are being threatened.

''This morning, our office was raided by National Security. A few days ago, traditional leaders threatened to burn down our office but the police did not help. At this moment, we no longer have access to our safe space and our safety is being threatened,'' the post read.

LGBT+ Rights Ghana called on all human rights organisations and allies to condemn what they called an attack.

''We call on all human rights organizations, and allies to speak out against this attack.''

The LGBTQ+ Rights Ghana launched and opened its administrative office at Ashongman in Accra in February 2021, to serve as a haven to its members.

The European Union in Ghana and the Australian High Commissioner were at the opening.

Meanwhile, a Ghanaian man residing outside the country has bemoaned the culture of indiscriminate misuse of the money people living abroad send home to supposed loved ones back home.

The man, simply identified as Kofi, was videoed as he stepped out from the house to find his car buried in snow.

According to Kofi, it had been snowing since 3:00 am unending but they have to endure and go to work amid the freezing temperature despite the health risk.

In other news, Togolese international footballer, Sheyi Emmanuel Adebayor, has feted his wealth as he shows off a line-up of luxe vehicles in recent photos.

The former Arsenal striker, who lives in the realm of affluence and influence is famous as one of Africa's prominent footballers owning some of the most priced exotic cars and magnificent mansions.

Emmanuel Adebayor recently took to social media to display his wealth, flaunting a line-up of expensive cars, including a black Mercedes-Benz to white G-Wagon and other priced cars.
