Meet the 26-year-old Legon graduate with own 50-acre farm

- A 26-year-old UG graduate has managed to procure a 50-acre farm that he runs at Kade in the Eastern Region

- According to the gentleman whose enterprise is called Opia Ventures, his interest in Agriculture started from SHS

- When he was studying Horticulture at Legon, the young man was able to produce both pepper and tomato on the same plant

Opia, a 26-year-old graduate from the University of Ghana, Legon, runs his own 50-care farm that is located at Kade in the Eastern Region of Ghana.

In an interview with a rising YouTuber named Charles Antwi, Opia recounted how his passion for Agriculture all started, indicating that he began right in senior high school.

After SHS, the passionate young man went to study Horticulture at Ghana's Premier University where he emerged as the best student because of his creativity.

According to Opia, he really impressed his tutors when they were given a practical assignment and he was able to produce both tomato and pepper on the same plant.

After attaining his academic qualification, the 26-year-old started his own farm and employed his creativity to ensure that he gets higher yields and faster harvest periods organically.

The way I do my things is always different. Many people on other farms close to mine always think I am mad or something," he said

Meanwhile, Abubakar Jamiu Thioumbianu from the West Natinga Bawku Electoral Area in the Upper East Region of Ghana is the youngest assemblyman in the area.

Information obtained directly from the 29-year-old indicated that he became an assemblyman for the first time when he was only 22 and in college.

After he graduated from the Bawku Presbyterian Nursing Training College, the gentleman ran for office again after his first victory in 2014 and got reelected in 2020.
