Assin Central Member of Parliament, Kennedy Agyapong, has taken a strong swipe at renowned broadcaster, Captain Smart.
For some time now, Captain Smart has been throwing fire at the Akufo-Addo government.
Captain Smart has been attacking the government over its excessive borrowing.
His continuous attacks have made his radio station Angel FM suspended him.
Now, on Net TV, Kennedy Agyapong has exposed Captain Smart for owing him.
According to the maverick politician, the radio presenter does not have the moral right to attack the government.
He said Captain Smart owes him GHC 10,000 for unpaid air condition.
Kennedy Agyapong added that it has been three years and Captain Smart has failed to pay the money.
Meanwhile, controversial pastor, Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah, says the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) will lose the 2024 elections if the party presents a non-Christian presidential candidate.
In effect, the head pastor of the Glorious Word and Power Ministry believes the NPP will be booted out of the Jubilee House with Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as its flagbearer.
The vice president is the only prominent non-Christian in the elephant fraternity being widely tipped to succeed President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as the NPP’s presidential candidate in the 2024 elections.
He is seen by many political watchers as the key to breaking the 8-year cycle. Owusu Bempah, however, has other ideas and he disclosed this during a sermon in his Church according to a Peace FM report.
He said the NPP could lose the elections should a non-Christian lead it into the 2024 elections.
“God has revealed something about the NPP to me. It is the hardened heart of one person. God does not want NPP to stay in power because of that person. He is the second in command,” the controversially maverick pastor stated in an obvious reference to the vice president.
“One thing God forbids is for someone to touch Christians or followers of Christ so if you have any intention to victimize Christians with your power, God will not let you enjoy the power.
"This is a prophecy, not an advice. NPP may not be able to hold on to power because of one person. Just because of that person. God knows the person’s heart and that person won’t help Christians if he is given power,” he added.
