National Democratic Congress' John Dumelo has taken the lead as results from the Ayawaso West Wuogon parliamentary elections trickle in.
Provisional results from polling stations indicate that Dumelo is in a strong position to take Lydia Alhassan's seat from the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Dumelo's wife jubitales online
While the results are only provisional, Dumelo's wife, Gifty Mawunya Dumelo, has been spotted in high spirits.
In a video sighted by YEN.com.gh on TikTok, the lawyer commended her husband for his campaign efforts in the build-up to the election.
She was optimistic that voters would recognize her husband's hard work and vote for him as their representative in Parliament.

Legon Hall tensions between Dumelo and Lydia
Provisional results from the Legon Hall polling station showed Dumelo had 316 against Lydia Alhassan's 148 votes.
However, the big gap in favour of Dumelo did not seem to please some party agents, who demanded a recount.
In a video surfaced online, the angry party agents were agitated and demanded a ballot recount.
Sista Afia congratulates Dumelo on potential victory
Meanwhile, social media has been buzzing with anticipation as vote counting approaches its final stages, with Dumelo emerging as a frontrunner.
Celebrity supporters, including musician Sista Afia, have amplified the electoral drama, generating widespread online engagement and enthusiasm for Dumelo's potential victory.
She shared a post congratulating the actor-turned-politician in advance.
