Ghanaian actress Harriet Naa Akleh Okanteh, aka Auntie Bee, has shed light on her past romantic stint with Bob Santo, who died on May 30, 2002.

According to Auntie Bee, she dated Santo for about six years and was comfortable as his sidechick since the late actor was married.
Speaking to Giovani Caleb on TV3's Showbiz 360, Auntie Bee hailed Santo as a caring man who cared for her a lot.
The two actors worked together closely in several TV productions, including Effiewura and Key Soap Concert Party.
Auntie Bee and Santo used to go on several trips performing live comic shows at functions. It was on one of those trips when their love affair started.
In her interview, Auntie Bee of Efiewura fame recounted how Santo helped her in the industry and the many instances he proved himself to be a caring partner.
"He never disgraced me in our six years together." Even when my child died, he came to perform at the funeral with the entire band," Auntie Bee said.
She noted that Santo was upfront and clear about his affair.
"Santo told me he couldn't marry me because of his age. I was very young at the time. But he made me a lot of promises, and many of them came to fruition," Auntie Bee established
"He wanted to travel with me abroad. He was planning to help me relocate there so I can get him instruments when he returned to Ghana...That's the only thing that couldn't have happened before his death," Auntie Bee added.
Before Santo died in 2022, Auntie Bee said he had a death wish that she would perform at his funeral.
