Ghanaian TikToker Asantewaa grabbed social media attention after sharing a video receiving a new car as a push gift.

Asantewaa welcomed a new child in the United States of America on Tuesday, July 8, 2025.

She announced the birth in a video shared to TikTok showing herself and her brother, Kay Verli, at the maternity ward of an undisclosed hospital.

The content creator, who was heavily pregnant, later shared a video of herself on TikTok stories, singing and celebrating in the hospital washroom with her belly looking smaller, indicating she had delivered.

The child was Asantewaa’s second after she gave birth to her first child, Mystery, in 2023.

Asantewaa gifted Mercedes AMG as push gift

In a series of videos shared to TikTok, she was seen receiving a new Mercedes-AMG E43 as a gift, which she claimed was from her partner, AMG Armani.

Asantewaa, surrounded by a group of excited friends, was seen walking blindfolded through her room as she was led to the compound of her home.

She screamed happily as her blindfold was taken off and she saw the brand new car, which had been wrapped up as a present.

Asantewaa calls out 'disrespectful' labour ward nurse

She claimed the nurse in the US hospital where she delivered refused to help her and recoiled from touching her, implying that she was 'dirty'.

The TikToker's video stirred empathetic responses from Ghanaians, most of whom slammed the nurse and shared support for Asantewaa.
