Ghanaian-American musician Moliy Ama Montgomery, popularly known as Moliy, has made headlines with her new collaboration with Burger King.

The Shake It To The Max hit-maker shared the news on her social media after her record-breaking song was featured in a global video advertisement.

Ghanaian musician Moliy has been named among global stars from Africa after American multinational chain of hamburger fast food restaurants, Burger King, used her song, which resonates with the youth, for their advertisement.

In a viral video, a group of vibrant and fashionable youth sampled meals from their eras while jamming to her viral summer song. She shared the viral video on her Instagram page with this caption:

Ghanaian musician Moliy made history as the first Ghanaian artist to perform at the BET Awards preshow in a viral video.

She wowed the fans with her unique stage craft, electrifying performance and stylish look at the star-studded event.

Moliy's most-talked-about performance on June 9, 2025, proved she is a global music star, particularly within the vibrant genres of Afrobeats and dancehall.
