Maame Gold is inconsolable at dad's funeral

Maame Gold laid her father in state at dawn on Saturday, September 20, 2025, ahead of his funeral ceremony at Sepaase in Kumasi.

In videos that have surfaced on social media, the celebrity luxury shopper was seen breaking down into uncontrollable tears after stepping out of the room where her late father had been laid in state.

Family members who were present at the time were seen consoling her and trying to get her to calm down after seeing the remains of her late father, who used to be the Buruku Ahodwo Hene and the former MP for Atwima Nwabiagya.

Later on in the latter part of the morning, Maame Gold was seen walking up and down the funeral grounds as mourners trooped in to file past her father's remains that had been laid in state.
