A video of Ghanaian businessman Dr Osei Kwame Despite’s hometown mansions has surfaced, stirring conversations on social media.

The wealthy businessman and founder of the Despite Group of Companies reportedly owns multiple mansions in Wiamoase, located in the Sekyere South district of the Ashanti Region.

Despite’s lavish mansions in hometown surface

In a video seen by YEN.com.gh, a passerby recorded a video showing the mansion as they drove by in a car.

The video showed two or three homes, which reportedly all belonged to the businessman.

“Dr Osei Kwame Despite’s house at Wiamoase,” the video was captioned.

In another video, Ghanaian YouTuber Kwaku Okyere Darko shared drone footage of Wiamoase, giving a clearer view of Despite’s homes.

He explained that the businessman had built a police station for the town, which was positioned next to his homes.

According to reports, Despite gifted one of the three mansions to his sister.

Despite opens automobile museum

One of Ghana's richest men, Despite, opened an automobile museum on June 1 to showcase his luxurious car collection to interested members of the public.

The museum, located inside his plush East Legon mansion, was outdoored in an extravagant ceremony attended by numerous prominent Ghanaians.

Among the impressive fleet of cars showcased at the grand opening were a Bugatti, a Rolls-Royce Silver Wraith LWB, a Bentley, a Mercedes-Benz, a Jaguar, and a Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

Aside from the auto museum, a remarkable infinity pool, a unique water park and other amenities, including an outdoor jacuzzi and expansive recreational spaces designed for entertainment and comfort, are all located on the compound.

Celebrities at the auto museum launch included the Asantehene, Otumfuo Nana Osei Tutu II, actors John Dumelo and Jackie Appiah, businessman Nana Kwame Bediako 'Cheddar', former President John Agyekum Kufuor, and the CEO of Engineers and Planners, Ibrahim Mahama.

Despite's son graduates from Law School

Previously, YEN.com.gh reported that Osei Kwame Despite's son, Saahene Osei, had graduated from the University of Ghana School of Law.
