Los Angeles Lakers star Luka Dončić has landed in fresh legal trouble, with his ex-fiancée, Anamaria Goltes, filing a new claim in Slovenia seeking a total settlement of $50 million alongside changes to his custody rights.

Dončić and Goltes, a Slovenian model, began dating as teenagers and share two daughters: Gabriela, 2, and a younger daughter, reportedly seven months old.

The couple were never officially married, though they were engaged and reportedly set to marry before splitting earlier this year.

According to multiple reports, their legal dispute has already stretched across two continents, having started in California before shifting to Slovenia this week.

Ex-fiancée demands $50 million and less custody

Sources with direct knowledge told TMZ that Goltes is seeking $40 million for herself out of the total claim, with the remaining $10 million connected to matters involving the couple's daughters.

She is also pushing to cut Dončić's custody time significantly, from at least two days a week down to just one.

The new Slovenia filing came shortly after Goltes had asked a California court to dismiss her separate child support petition, stating in court documents that she wanted to resolve the matter "amicably and by a mutual agreement" in the best interests of their children.

That request was reportedly rejected by the court for missing Dončić's signature.

Dončić had previously argued the case should not be heard in California at all, since the children live in Slovenia, and said he had already begun separate legal proceedings there addressing custody and support.

The next scheduled hearing in the case is set for August 14, 2026.
