Mahama lifts ban on state lands sale
This report comes after President John Mahama said the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources and the Lands Commission would be auditing all state lands leased or allocated between 2017 and 2024.
On September 3, the Presidency lifted the temporary ban on the sale of state and public land transactions.
The ban was introduced in January to allow for a comprehensive review of Ghana’s land administration system.

Gabby's wife accused of state land sale
YEN.com.gh recently reported that Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, the North Tongu MP, accused NPP member Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko's wife, Nana Adjoa Hackman, of selling state lands.
The MP claimed that Hackman had acquired property from the state illegally while serving on a state board, further claiming that the said property belonged to the Judicial Service of Ghana.
Reacting to the allegations, Asaase Broadcasting Company said the claims were misleading and false, and stated that Lilly Homes Limited had legally acquired its new headquarters legitimately.
