Police in Ireland have launched search for men who took a dead man’s body to a post office in an attempt to collect his pension.
Attempt to get pension
The Irish Mirror reports that Peadar Doyle's body was carried by two men in the Friday, January 21 incident.
The two held the retiree's corpse on their shoulders during the bizarre incident, but a staff member noticed the older man did not look okay and called the police.

The duo dropped Doyle on the floor when the worker raised concerns and fled the scene.
One of the suspects had earlier walked into the post office to claim the money belonging to Doyle, who was in his 70s.
However, he was told that Doyle was the only person who could receive the payment, and no one could collect it on his behalf.
Return with dead body
He then returned with his accomplice and Doyle's body and attempted to get the pension money.
Police were informed that an unconscious man was carried into a post office.
“The guards and an ambulance arrived at the scene where they discovered the man was dead," a source told the publication.
Authorities believed Doyle had died of natural causes but did not rule out other possibilities.
A woman said her daughter had witnessed the two carrying the body into the post office.
“She was leaving my house at the time and said the man looked unwell as his feet were dragging the ground,” she said.

The man was found by a neighbour who checked on him. But unfortunately, he was confirmed dead by responders who rushed to the scene.
Maryland authorities said it is illegal to keep a snake in the state, and neighbours did not know the man had the reptiles in his house.
