The Minister was representing President John Mahama during the 2025 Annual Camp Meeting in the Apostolic Church at Aplaku in Ga South.

The event drew a large congregation from across the West and Central Africa District and beyond, creating an atmosphere of spiritual revival and communal worship.

However, the sight of Ahmed Ibrahim praying and emotionally worshipping God on his knees raised questions about his religious affiliation, primarily because his name, Ahmed Ibrahim, is of Arabic origin.

Ibrahim donated 20 bags of sugar, rice and an undisclosed amount of money to support the Shia Muslim Community during the holy period.
