Family Leaves Canada for Ghana To Start Poultry Farm, Shares Their Story in Video

A Ghanaian family has become an inspiration to many living abroad after opening up about their journey of returning home.

In a video sighted by YEN.com.gh on the TikTok page of @kobengdarko, Akua Appiah, who spoke on behalf of the family, said she and her husband were based in Canada together with their kids.

The middle-aged woman admitted that she and her husband drew inspiration from the teachings of Ghanaian entrepreneur Obeng Darko, which motivated them to make the bold decision to return to the motherland

When they returned to Ghana, they ventured into poultry farming and are proud of the bold step they took, with their farm now boasting more than 400 birds.

Akua Appiah added that besides poultry, they also rear other animals such as pigs, goats, and sheep.

With a look of gratitude, she thanked Obeng Darko for inspiring her family to make the bold move of relocating home.

Lady leaves Netherlands to sell thrift clothes

Earlier, YEN.com.gh reported that a young lady got people talking after she left the Netherlands for Ghana to venture into the thrift clothing business.

In a video on TikTok, the Ghanaian lady @xlaurenaa explained that despite having a university degree and a Dutch passport, the major reason which influenced her decision to relocate to Ghana was to start her own business.

She added that the weather conditions was another major factor that convinced her she needed to make the move.
