After scoring his first goal, Pulisic celebrated with the now-popular Trump dance in front of a packed stadium in St Louis.

“I saw everyone doing it yesterday in the NFL, I saw Jon Jones do it,” Pulisic said via New York Times. “We’re just having a bit of fun, so I thought it was a pretty fun dance.”

Pulisic's dance received a lot of attention on social media due to its association with Trump.

“It’s not a political dance. It was just for fun. I saw a bunch of people do it and I thought it was funny, so I enjoyed it. I hope some people did, at least.”

Several sports stars, including UFC superstar Jon Jones and San Francisco 49ers' Nick Bosa, have recently performed the dance.
