Hardware

Information about the design, storage, display, and battery capacity of this fantastic device includes the following:

Design and build

The phone was carefully designed to meet the specific needs of users. The body build, consisting of glass front (Gorilla Glass 3) and polymer on the back with a plastic silver-painted frame, makes it look attractive, except that it must be carefully held from falling so that it does not break easily.

Its dimensions measuring 158.5 mm by 74.7 mm by 7.7 mm enable the easy display of contents on the screen without straining the eyes unnecessarily. The fingerprint sensor mounted on the rear side allows effortless access.

Interestingly also, the phone is available in four colours: white, red, blue, and black. The device has a dedicated slot for micro SIM and a dual nano-SIM slot that supports VoLTE.

At the bottom, the device has a 3.5mm headphone jack as well as a USB-C connection. The volume and power buttons are a bit high up, but depending on how you hold it, you should not have any problem with it.

Processor, storage, and performance

The Samsung lineup processor features eight cores; it has two 1.8GHz cores and six 1.6GHz cores. This makes the processor capable of handling different multitasking needs.

The phone will breeze through most games and process heavy apps without affecting its optimal performance. Interestingly also, navigating through menus comes with ease. Then, it has a multi-core speed of 4,103, which is similar to 2016 released Pixel XL.

Wherever you leave off any app, it picks it up anytime you want to reaccess it without delay. The Samsung A30 has 64GB with 4GB of random-access memory (RAM), which can be expanded up to 512GB. With that, you should not have any challenge storing heavy applications and other data on your device.

Samsung A30 review

There are several reviews from users who have experienced the features of the phone. While some of them are positive, others are not. Some of the criticisms received so far include the following:

Phone is cheap, has Amoled display, Awesome Selfie Camera, Dolby Atmos, Gorilla Glass, 64 GB with expandable memory, One UI, fast processor, 4,000 battery. I recommend it. - Anna Marfa
Samsung better with screen and Sony better with sound. Each brand have their own specialty. But I think it's a good choice to have a phone with 4gb ram and at least 4000mah battery capacity for daily use. - Izwan Ibrahim
I'm using an A30 and surprisingly the selfie cam does a better job capturing photos at night than the main camera. - conyo985
The fingerprint scanner is too slow compared to cheaper oppo and realme devices. - Shadi Abdelhadi
This is my phone for about a year and it's golden minus the fact that it's only one speaker. Really could have used 2. - Josh Bekker

What's the difference between Samsung A30 and A50?

On like A30, the Galaxy A50 has super features like triple cameras and an in-display fingerprint sensor. Then, the A50 has an in-display fingerprint sensor, which is lacking in A30.

Verdict

The Samsung A30 is worth its price for anyone who desires a memorable experience with their mobile device. The upgrade of A20, which led to the launching of A30 into the mobility market is a successful one.

However, considering Samsung A30 price in Ghana Cedis with related products, one is tempted to ask whether an average Ghanaian can afford the cost. Nevertheless, with the device's features and specs coupled with the fun experience it gives, the price tag is fair enough.
