Anita Asieduwaa Ama Nkrumah, a 22-year-old senior high school graduate has lost her life after a tipper truck run over her whilst she was cooking in her kitchen.
According to adomonline.com, the sad incident occurred at Senchi-Amanfrom in the Asuogyaman District of the Eastern Region over the weekend.
It is reported that the truck was on a dusty road whilst trying to negotiate a sharp curve when the driver lost control and veered off the road into the structure the young lady was cooking in.
The kitchen is a wooden makeshift structure located close to the road, and the victim was said to be preparing food before the vehicle veered off, causing the accident.
Upon hearing the heartbreaking incident, the young lady's mother could not hold back her sorrowful emotions in an interview.
She revealed that the day was a normal one when she left home only to start getting reports of an emergency.
“I wasn’t at home. My daughter was home when I left. I received several calls while in the farm that there had been an accident at our house so I rushed back home", she said.
In another report, a video of Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng, the late Ghanaian female dancehall artiste popularly known as Ebony has surfaced exactly three years after she passed away.
The footage sighted by YEN.com.gh on the personal handle of @efo_phil on Twitter shows the artiste asking Ghanaians whether they have missed her.
This was part of a thread of posts that were made under the hashtag #EbonyLivesOnY to eulogize and remember her for the amazing talent she displayed.
