The New York Post, America’s popular media outlet, has reported on Akuapem Poloo’s court issue.
In the report sighted by YEN.com.gh, the New York Post made a detailed report of Rosemond Brown’s saga and fed its readers with all they needed to know about it.
The site quoted its primary source as the BBC, as apparently, the British news site had also reported on the issue.
It needs not be emphasised that Akuapem Poloo keeps gaining international attention with her court case.
Earlier, some celebrities in Nigeria waded into her issue and expressed full support for her.
Mompha, for instance, called Akuapem Poloo a strong woman, while Tonto pushed for her release because to her, Poloo had not committed any crime.
This comes after she was jailed 90 days after she pleaded guilty to some charges brought against her by Child Rights International.
The court convicted her for sharing nude photos with her seven-year-old son.
When she shared those photos, many people criticised her and warned her to take down those photos.
However, she hit back hard at her critics, saying that it is her page, it is her body, and so she can post whatever she wants.
She was granted bail on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, after her lawyer filed for an appeal to the court.
However, Akuapem Poloo has been taken to the Nsawam Prison just a day after being granted bail.
