It needs not be emphasised that Akuapem Poloo keeps gaining international attention with her court case.

Earlier, some celebrities in Nigeria waded into her issue and expressed full support for her.

Actress Tonto Dike, and socialite Mompha, were among those who expressed their support for Akuapem Poloo.

Mompha, for instance, called Akuapem Poloo a strong woman, while Tonto pushed for her release because to her, Poloo had not committed any crime.

This comes after she was jailed 90 days after she pleaded guilty to some charges brought against her by Child Rights International.

The court convicted her for sharing nude photos with her seven-year-old son.

When she shared those photos, many people criticised her and warned her to take down those photos.

However, she hit back hard at her critics, saying that it is her page, it is her body, and so she can post whatever she wants.
