Ghanaian actress and comedienne, Afia Schwar, has mocked Akuapem Poloo and Nana Agradaa for organising press conferences after they were arrested by the police and eventually released.
Describing it as a press conference week, Afia said she would also need to hold a press conference now concerning her issue with her former husband, Lawrence Abrokwa, because when that acid incident happened, she did not hold one.
In a virtual press conference, she thanked her friends, Tracey Boakye, and Diamond Appiah, for being supportive at that time.
She also thanked the “former government” for supporting her when Abrokwa caused her pain.
To climax the press conference, Afia shed tears as was characterised by Agradaa and Poloo’s press conferences.
It will be recalled how Abrokwa stormed Afia’s bedroom to find her in bed with another man.
An incensed Abrokwa could not endure the pain that he threatened to disfigure Afia’s face with content in a bottle he claimed to be acid.
Out of fear, Afia had to run about in the room without clothes, while the man she was caught in bed with covered his face with a blanket and fled outside.
Many people, including former president John Mahama, all came to Afia’s aid. It is for this that she has held the press conference to thank them.
Meanwhile, Poloo was slapped with a 90-day jail term by the court for taking nude photos with her seven-year-old son.
She was eventually granted bail following an appeal by her lawyer.
Agradaa was also busted during an operation by the National Communications Authority (NCA) on Tuesday, April 20, 2021.
After her release, she held a press conference claiming that she has repented and now converted to Christianity.
Kwaku Bonsam has touched on the matter and issued a warning to Agradaa following her claim.
The popular juju man also revealed the 4,932 pastors who come to him for power. He said Kumawood actor Lil Win visited him recently.
