The Assin Central Member of Parliament has attacked Captain Smart over his stand against Akufo-Addo's government.

According to Kennedy Agyapong, the radio presenter doesn't have the moral right to attack the government over its excessive borrowing.

@Ken Aidoo-Borsah: "My question is who is Kennedy Agyapong actually fighting for, and what is he defending? Ghana or his party. His is all over radio and tv but hardly do we see him talking in parliament. His job is to make and enforce Laws as a parliamentary but no he has become social media personal fighting those who speak against the bad system. He has a diplomatic passport and still takes ex-gratia. Ghana, as a mother needs someone to defend her as her Children, are without light, good drinking water, good roads, No jobs, bad educational system and high cost of living yet the interest is party and not Ghana HOW!!!."

@Agbesi Mawuko Senyo: " If he is owing you does it means he shouldn't criticise the government over excessive borrowing? Ghana is sick because of greedy leader and wicked politicians."

@Tom-dill Bright: "We have such people as MPS in Gh. I shock give Ken paaaa eiiiiisshh."

Meanwhile, controversial pastor, Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah, says the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) will lose the 2024 elections if the party presents a non-Christian presidential candidate.

In effect, the head pastor of the Glorious Word and Power Ministry believes the NPP will be booted out of the Jubilee House with Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as its flagbearer.

The vice president is the only prominent non-Christian in the elephant fraternity being widely tipped to succeed President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as the NPP’s presidential candidate in the 2024 elections.

He is seen by many political watchers as the key to breaking the 8-year cycle. Owusu Bempah, however, has other ideas and he disclosed this during a sermon in his Church according to a Peace FM report.
