News reaching YEN.com.gh has it that veteran on-air personality, Captain Smart, known in real life as Blessed Godsbrain Smart, has joined Media General.
He was unveiled and introduced to the rest of the world as the new Media General staff today, June 1, 2021, on TV3's morning show, New Day.
This new move would see the firebrand radio presenter taking charge of the Onua FM/TV morning show from Monday to Friday.
The outspoken radio personality hinted of his new move in a post he made on social media where he stated he was moving from "A to A and now to O".
He was seen beaming with smiles as he made his first appearance on the TV station of his new employers.
Captain Smart was in the news following a suspension from hosting his show at Angel FM.
The reports that came in following the suspension was that the radio personality had been asked to step aside for a while due to the backlash he sent the way of some politicians in the country.
Following his suspension, he started a page on social media where he continued bashing government officials while stating that he could not be gagged.
In other news, Ghanaian artiste, Kwabena Kwabena, known in real life as George Kwabena Adu has been involved in an accident.
The Adult Music singer was involved in the accident together with well-known artiste manager, Nana Poku Ashis.
It is reported that the accident occurred on Monday, May 31, 2021, on the busy Kumasi Highway while the duo was returning from a funeral they attended in Kumasi.
Photos from the scene of the accident showed the SUV car of the artiste looking damaged after it derailed into the bush.
