Ghanaian Highlife artiste, Kuami Eugene, has extended support to Afrobeat singer and an alumnus of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Benny Morgan to emerge as the winner of the maiden edition of Gracey Mae’s unsigned daily talent show in the UK.
Kuami Eugene appearing as a guest judge on the UK-based Gracey Mae’s ‘unsigned’ daily talent show held live on Instagram declared that he has known Benny Morgan way back on the streets before his fame.
‘I know Benny Morgan. I was on the streets with Benny Morgan. If you hear Oh Benny Morgan eyyy then you know it’s him,’ he said.

Benny Morgan’s single, Blessing, which was featured and played as the fifth song on the show received an overwhelming endorsement from Kuami Eugene.
Viewers falling in love with Benny Morgan’s song voted for the song, leading to his victory against other contestants.
Benny Morgan, whose real name is Benjamin A. Owiredu, is known for his hit singles like Blessings, Pretty, Ohemaa, Friend like you, and Medi. He has done some amazing covers for songs like Wish me well by Kuami Eugene, Poverty by J. Derobie, and many others.

Meanwhile, Philemon Yanney, a young and upcoming Ghanaian talent in music has made a heartwarming move after he was awarded a car as part of his signing deal.
Zionfelix.com reports that Philemon, who is affectionately known by the stage name, Da Yanney, asked that the car be sold and the cost used to purchase hospital beds instead.
According to the young artiste, there have been many reports of hospitals lacking bed spaces, therefore, leaving patients to sleep on the hard floor in discomfort.
