Asamoah Gyan hails Funny Face

Asamoah Gyan has always had a soft spot for Funny Face. He was one of the earliest donors when the embattled comedian went broke and launched a fundraiser to help him gain custody of his children.

Funny Face recently posted a video of Ajagurajah mimicking his viral 'Ekow go this way' trend. Asamoah Gyan, struck by the hilarious attempt and Funny Face's influence, said,

"Awwww Glory be to God. Ghana should get ready for the @therealfunnyface reborn."

Speaking to YFM's NYDJ who interviewed Funny Face after his showdown in Kumasi, he told YEN.com.gh that

For someone who has long yearned to find his true self, stay happy and be accepted by the people despite his turbulent past, the new viral trend paves a way for Funny Face to warm his way back into the hearts of many Ghanaians who had almost cancelled him after giving him several opportunities. There’s no denying the fact that Funny Face made a good impression of himself when he turned his suffering and experiences at the psychiatric home into a good joke for thousands to laugh at at the National Theatre in Accra, Ghana. The new viral trend is no different. This, is to say that he has always had it and can go as far as he wants once he stays away from anything that triggers him.
